In another research conducted by Elizabeth Munich and Stephen Parente, it was stated that for the same procedure, the time spent by a patient in an ASC is 25% to 30% lower than in a hospital outpatient department. In addition, ASC patients are less likely to visit the hospital just after few days after the surgery.
